NMES + Standard rehabA total of 15 NMES repetitions were performed during each session, twice a day for 6 weeks after TKA. All patients were provided the same standard rehabilitation protocol for TKA. All participants were given a home exercise program to be performed twice daily during the acute phase of recovery (first 30 days) and then daily until discharge from therapy.
